SERVICE ACTIVITIES

The Brigade volunteers rendered First Aid services in road accidents, fairs and festival occasions like Rath yatra at Puri,Siva Ratri at Linjaraj Temple ,emergencies like Flood and cyclone in Odisha State as mentioned below:-

01. Capital Foundation Day celebration at Bhubaneswar P.M.G. Square on 12th and 13th April of every year.

02. Biju Patnaik Mini Marathon on 5th March every year

03. Sun Stroke Camp:--Sun Stroke Camps organised at Bhubaneswar city at Talcher District Angul, Digapahandi in Ganjam District, at Cuttack city, at Kantigaria in Jajpur District.

04. First Aid service camp organised in Mahasivaratri Mela of Lord Lingaraj Temple,Bhubanewar, at Kapilash Hill of Dhenkanal District,at Mohabinayak at Chandikhole in Jajpur District and at Sri Lokanath temple at Puri. Brigade volunteers attended the casualties from the huge gathering during the celebration.

05. State Level Independence Day parade and Republic Day parade at Mahatma Gandhi Marg, Bhubaneswar on 15th August 2018 and 26th January.Several times volunteers /Units of St. John Ambulance have felicitated with shields by the Chief minister.

06. The National Service Camp are being held at Puri on the occasion of Rath Yatra Festival of Lord Jagannath regularly since 1989.

07. Sishu Mahostav arranged by the Govt.of Odisha as well as observances of ANJALI International Children Festival.

08. Voluntary service and Ambulance service during Toshali National Craft Mela.

09. Participation of St.john Ambulance during Sandhya Darshan,Bahuda Yatra and Suna Besha of Lord Jagannath every year.

10. Rendering of voluntary service, First Aid services and Ambulance service adequately each and every events organised by Sports & Youth Services Deptt.Govt.of Odisha.

11. During Rukuna Rath Car Festival of Lord Linjaraj.

12. First Aid services and Ambulance service during several events throughout the year organised by Govt.and non-Govt.sectors.

13. Service camp week-long held at Cuttack Bali yatra Ground on the memory of Kalinga Treaders and for the comfort of people gather there.
